On the Relative Minimal Model Program for Threefolds in Low Characteristics

چکیده
We show the validity of relative dlt MMP over $${\mathbb{Q}}$$ -factorial threefolds in all characteristics $$p>0$$ . As a corollary, we generalise many recent results to low including: $$W{\mathcal{O}}$$ -rationality klt singularities, inversion adjunction, and normality divisorial centres up universal homeomorphism.

Assume that X is a smooth projective 3-fold with ample KX . We study a problem of Miles Reid to prove the inequality K X ≥ 2 3 (2pg(X)− 5), where pg(X) is the geometric genus. This inequality is sharp according to known examples of M. Kobayashi. We also birationally classify arbitrary minimal 3-folds of general type with small slope.
